ABOUT THE SAVANNAH FILM ALLIANCE
The Savannah Film Alliance was founded in 2015 as a grassroots organization dedicated to the support and growth of the film and television industry in the Coastal Empire. Since that time, its membership has grown to over 500 filmmakers, crew members, government officials, producers, actors, service providers, and many other entertainment industry supporters. The Savannah Film Alliance offers a unique mutual support system through which its members meet together four times a year to share information, review the current state of the industry, and brainstorm how to work together to utilize each member’s expertise, resources, and abilities to ensure Savannah’s continued status as one of the world’s premier filming destinations.
The Savannah Film Alliance welcomes everyone with an interest in the local entertainment industry, and there is no membership fee to join. For more information, send us your email through the contact section at the bottom of the home page, and we will add you to the Savannah Film Alliance mailing list. Savannah Film Alliance meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend to share their updates, discuss their goals, and learn more about the Savannah filmmaking experience.
The Savannah Film Alliance was founded by attorney Charles Bowen with the tremendous support of Howard Morrison, Savannah Technical College, SEDA, Savannah Filmmakers, and Beth Nelson along with the entire staff of the Savannah Regional Film Commission. The Alliance also works closely with local businesses and residents to foster communication and cooperation across all cross-sections of the local community.
